EAA 732 The Northwest Arkansas Chapter

The April 2010 Chapter Meeting was held in Neosho, Missouri where we had a project review of two Zenith 650's under construction.  Shayne and Phillis McDaniel are nearing the flying stages on their project and recently had it painted by a local auto shop which did an excellent job on the plane.   They have only been working on the plane since late Summer 2009 so it has gone together quite fast.  Brenda Smith is getting back to her project after a break for a few months but has made quick progress since starting the kit in Summer '09.  We had a great turnout of folks, nice flying weather, and plenty of food.

During the business portion of the meeting Warren Jones mentioned that an Executive Commitee meeting is in the works and he intends to set the dates for Young Eagles rallies within the next few weeks.  An email is forthcoming of dates to choose from.  If you have a suggestion for a Young Eagles location to be considered please send that to him.  Warren also mentioned that he wants to fly first time kids first and have repeat attenders wait until the end.

As the new webmaster I introduced the new website and asked that folks update their email addresses and contact information.  I forgot to mention that I had to entirely re-build the site so if you have bookmarks to the old site, you'll probably need to re-find the page and adjust your bookmark.
