I was able to make it to the last evening of "hamburger's at Chip's hanger" where he was raffling a 20 minute ride in the Extra.  Since it was for a good cause, I bought two chances and figured it would be like my visits to a casino, fruitless.  The first name drawn was Scott Musgrave's but he wasn't able to fly because he had his daughter with him.  So Chip had another ticket pulled which turned out to be one of mine!  Woo hoo!  It didn't take me long to get the parachute on and fend off some rude comments about barf bags.  Fortunately I've flown with Chip before, in his Pitts, and have no qualms about calling it quits well before the need to use a bag arises.  The flight was incredible!  We were able to get in a couple of hammerhead stalls, rolls, and cuban eights before it became too dark to continue.  On the way back Chip wouldn't tell me what the g-meter had recorded but I knew it was quite a bit more than I experienced in his Pitts. I was still surprised to see +7, -2 on the meter!  Chip has, once again, afforded me an opportunity to experience aerobatic flight in an fantastic airplane!  Thanks Chip!!!
